Forgot to mention our memorable taxi ride from the airport to the Royal Olympic Hotel. The price is fixed at €35 – the driver had two speeds 140kmph & stop, however he did get us there safely, if not somewhat a little greyer, also very Impressive was that the local police, who clearly knowing we were arriving provided an escort for us, complete with flashing blue lights!!

A rainy morning, so spent it sorting the internet etc, then went for a walk. You can imagine our delight when we turned the first corner from our hotel, to see a street full of motorbike shops!!! Had a coffee, only €1.70. Ducked n weaved rain all afternoon, then headed back to the hotel, after purchasing some drinks n nibbles.

Looking forward to some sight seeing tomorrow, weather permitting.
